Accessories are allowed to complement the theme. Table space allowed 75cm wide x 60cm deep x unlimited height. As per NFYFC rules. To be arranged in front of the judge.   2. ET 10.30 Team Cookery Harry Potter Tea Party – Team of two to make two savoury items and two sweet suitable for a children’s tea party. To be displayed as a party scene with trimmings. Recipes to be displayed.Space allowed 68cm x 68cm. A proportion of the marks will be given for the overall effect      
             
  3. ET 10.30 Individual Cookery  Gingerbread Family – Competitor to make and display a family of Gingerbread men, with a minimum of 4 biscuits/characters. Space allowed 34cm x 34cm Decorate and make your characters individual as well as tasting good.      
             
             
  4. ET 10.30 Photography  British Wildlife – Four colour photographs depicting British Wildlife. Photographs to be 6” x 4” mounted on A3 card of your choice.  NO DIGITAL prints. Negatives or APS Proofs attached to back of mount.      
             
  5. ET 10.30 Woodwork  Pencil Box – Competitor to make a wooden Pencil Box      
             
  6. ET 10.30 Handwriting  A Poem – Competitor to compose and hand write a poem (a minimum of four verses). To be mounted on A4 card. To be judged on handwriting (60%) and content (40%).       
             
  7. ET 10.30 Art  Poster – Competitor to design and make a poster promoting a film of their choice, using any medium. Size A3.       
             
  8. ET 10.30 Art  Promotional Leaflet – Competitor to make and display a leaflet to promote their Club. Size required A4 folded. The Competitor is required to use computer skills to achieve required exhibit. Entries will be marked on content, techniques used and overall effect.      
             
  9. ET 10.30 Handicraft  Film Award – Competitor to make an award suitable for being presented at an award ceremony (BAFTA’s/Oscars etc) using air-dry modelling clay and decorate accordingly. As per NFYFC Rules.      
             
  10. ET 10.30 Handicraft  Soft Toy – Competitor to make and display a Soft Toy using a variety of materials and craft techniques.      
             
  11. ET 10.30 Handicraft  “Funky Frames” – Competitor to make a “Funky” pair of glasses suitable for a person of their own age. Materials and craft techniques of Competitors own choice.      
             
  12. ET 10.30 Craft  Mobile – Competitor to make and display a mobile suitable for a child’s bedroom. A variety of materials and craft techniques can be used. Age and sex of child to be stated.

  20.TBC 11.00 Nature Challenge   Competitors to a. Follow a nature trail and answer questions at various points en route; b.Country Quiz – answer questions and identify objects AND c.Specialist Quiz round on Trees. NOTE: Competitors will need to have a basic knowledge of Flora, Fauna and the Country Code. As per NFYFC Rules.      
             
  21. PA 11.00 Poultry Trussing   Competitor to dress and truss a chicken ready for the oven. Bird will be provided. Competitor to provide own equipment and tools. Maximum time allowed 30 minutes.      
             
  22. PA 2.00 Cake Icing  Children’s Birthday Cake – Competitor to decorate a cake suitable for a Children’s Birthday Party. Competitor to provide own iced cake, decorations and equipment. Dummy cakes can be used. Age and sex of child to be stated. Maximum time allowed 30 minutes.      
             
  23. PA 10.30 Identification  “Wild Flowers” – Competitors to identify a selection of Wild Flowers commonly found in the British Countryside.      
             
  24. PA 12.30 Home Safety  Competitor to answer questions on Home Safety and carry out tasks as instructed by the Judge.      
             
             
  25. PA 1.00 First Aid  Competitor to answer questions on basic First Aid and carry out tasks as instructed by the Judge.      
             
  26.THE 12.15 Cocktail Whizz  A team of two competitors to prepare and serve a non-alcoholic cocktail with the theme of “The Wild West”. The competitors will be required to perform their cocktail shaking routine and create an original non-alcoholic cocktail for two. Music is allowed (competitors to bring their own music) CD player will be provided. Electricity will NOT be provided. Will be judged on entertainment value, content, explanation and the end result. Time allowed 5 minutes plus 5 minutes setting up/tidying up time      
             
  27. PA 12.30 Make a Monster  A team of three competitors, one of which becomes the Monster, the other two are required to dress/create Monster and describe their character. Will be judged on appearance, the use of recycled materials and imagination. Time allowed for dressing up 20 minutes and then each team to give a brief resume of their character.

  35. ET 10.30 Handicraft   Animated Film - competitor will be required to make a 3D (three dimensional) decoupage greeting card to the theme of an animated film. The greeting card shall be no larger than A5 (148mm x 210mm) in size and the 3D decoupage shall be of layered card or paper and the finished 3D picture should be 12mm between the base print and final layer. To be viewed from all aspects. As per NFYFC Rules.      
             
  36.ET  10.30 Handicraft Tea Cosy – Competitor to make and display a Tea Cosy out of materials and using techniques of their choice.      
             
  37. ET 10.30 Handicraft   “Edna Specs”  – Competitor to make a pair of glasses suitable for a Dame Edna Everage. Materials and craft techniques of Competitors own choice.      
             
  38.ET 10.30 Craft An Odd Character – Competitor to make a free-standing character out of recycled materials. Space allowed 1m x 1m with a  maximum height of 1 metre.      
             
  39.ET 10.30 Design  A Maze – Competitor to design a Maze. Can be either computer or hand drawn. A3 size required, scale to be stated. Points will be given for imagination, design and additional features.

  47. PA 11.00 Poultry Jointing   Competitor to dress and joint a chicken. Bird will be provided. Competitor to provide own equipment and tools. Maximum time allowed 30 minutes.      
             
  48. PA 2.00 Cake Icing   Celebrity’s Birthday Cake – Competitor to decorate a cake suitable for a Birthday Party for Celebrity of their choice (Celebrity to be stated).  Competitor to provide own iced cake, materials for decorations and equipment. Dummy cakes can be used. Maximum time allowed 30 minutes       
             
  49. PA 10.30 Identification   “Herbs” - Competitors to identify a selection of fresh herbs.      
             
  50. PA 1.00 First Aid   Competitor to answer questions on First Aid with specific relevance to the farm environment and carry out tasks as instructed by the Judge.      
             
  51.TBC 11.30 Pavement Artist   Competitor to decorate a paving slab with a design of their choice using chalks. Pavement slab (18” sq) will be provided but Competitor must provide all other equipment. Time allowed 30 minutes.      
             
  52.THE 11.30 Cocktail Bash  A team of two competitors to prepare and serve a non-alcoholic cocktail with the theme of “The Wild West”. The competitors will be required to perform their cocktail shaking routine and create an original non-alcoholic cocktail for two. Music is allowed (competitors to bring their own music) CD player will be provided. Electricity will NOT be provided. Will be judged on entertainment value, content, explanation and the end result. Time allowed 5 minutes plus 5 minutes setting up/tidying up time      
             
  53.TBC 12.45  Del Boy Competition  A team of two competitors to create an object from a selection of materials provided, a proportion of which will be recycled; to then describe and “sell” their product to the audience. Time allowed 20 minutes to make their “product” and 5 minutes to sell it to the Judge/audience.

  54.ET  10.30 Floral Art   A Musical - Competitor to produce an exhibit depicting a musical of their choice – Musical to be stated. Accessories are allowed to complement the theme.   55.ET 10.30 Team Cookery  Premiere Party Meal – Team of two to make and display four homemade items suitable for a Premiere Party Meal. Space allowed 68cm x 68cm. Accessories allowed. Recipes to be displayed.

  61. ET 10.30 Handicraft   Science Fiction Clock – the competitor is required to make a clock using any medium to be fitted with a battery-powered mechanism to the theme “At the Movies”.  The clock can be any shape but to a maximum size of 30cms cubed and must be suitable for hanging. The clock dials and hands to be homemade and the clock must be in good working order. As per NFYFC Rules      
             
  62. ET 10.30 Handicraft  Evening Bag – Competitor to make and display a Evening Bag out of materials and using techniques of their choice.      
             
             
  63. ET 10.30 Handicraft  “Sir Elton Glasses” – Competitor to make a pair of glasses suitable for Sir Elton John. Materials and craft techniques of Competitors own choice.

  74. PA 10.30 Identification   “Weeds” – Competitors to identify a selection of weeds commonly found in the British Countryside.      
             
             
  75.TBC 1.30 Graffiti Art    Competitor to create design to cover the area provided (size to be confirmed). Board of required size will provided but competitors to supply all other materials and equipment. Time allowed 30 minutes. One entry per Club. Material of a questionable nature will be penalised.     One Entry Only  
             
  76. PA 11.00 Woodwork  Wooden Planter – Competitor to make a wooden flower planter. Competitor to provide own equipment and tools. Time allowed one hour.       
             
  77. PA 12.30 Willow Weaving   Competitor to make an item using willow and willow weaving techniques. Willow will be supplied but no other tools or equipment. Time allowed 45 minutes.      
             
  78.PA 10.30 Animal Mystery Competition   Competitor to answer questions, carry out tasks or follow instructions as per the Judge’s requirement.      
             
  79.THE 1.00 Cocktail Fling   A team of two competitors to prepare and serve a alcoholic cocktail with the theme of “The Wild West”.   81.MR 4.45 Float  Theme “A Film” Rules : All tractors or lorries to be driven by a responsible person who must report to the steward in advance  No missiles or water permitted  No persons must embark or disembark while the Floats are in motion  Tractors, trailers and lorries must comply with current legal requirements  Un-manned Floats to be available for inspection by the judges one hour before final judging and parade in the Main Ring  No one under 16 years permitted on the Floats     One Entry Only  
             
  82.   Raffle   Scoring will be based on books sold per registered member. Tickets to be returned to the Show Secretary by 10am on 28th May, folded with one single cheque made payable to “YFC Country Fayre 2006”     One Entry Only

MR 3.30 Men’s Tug of War   Team of eight (maximum of two members of that team MAY be between 15 and 18 on 1st September 2005 and the remainder MUST be over 18 but under 26 years of age on that date. Total team weight MUST NOT exceed 680kg. Teams will be weighed on the day. Team strips should be worn and proper footwear (as per national rules NO STUDS). All heats will be won by 2 pulls out of 3, changing ends after each pull. One Entry per Club      One Entry Only

MR 3.30 Ladies Tug of War   Team of eight (maximum of two members of that team MAY be between 15 and 18 on 1st September 2005 and the remainder MUST be over 18 but under 26 years of age on that date. Total team weight MUST NOT exceed 580kg. Teams will be weighed on the day. Team strips should be worn and proper footwear (as per national rules NO STUDS). All heats will be won by 2 pulls out of 3, changing ends after each pull. One Entry per Club     One Entry Only  
             
  85. MR 1.00 Pet Lamb   Competitor to rear an orphan lamb from birth, provide details of ration and rearing costs, and a keep a diary about their lamb. Competitor will be asked to handle their lamb and answer questions as required by the Judge.      
             
  86. MR 1.00 Calf Rearing   Competitor to rear a calf from birth, provide details of ration and rearing costs, and a keep a diary about their calf. Competitor will be asked to handle their calf and answer questions as required by the Judge. Calf to be born between 1st October and 31st December 2005.      
             
  87. Mini 12.30 Fence Erecting   Team of three (one of which is to be an intermediate member) to erect a permanent stock proof fence. Materials will be supplied but Competitors to provide own tools. Time allowed 1 ¼ hours. As per NFYFC Rules.      
             
  88.ET  10.30 Handicraft  Christmas Stocking - Competitor to make and display an Christmas Stocking suitable for a child using a variety of materials and craft techniques.      
             
  89.ET 10.30 Handicraft  Baler Twine Project – Competitor to make and display an item of their choice using Baler Twine and any craft techniques.       
             
  90. ET 10.30 Handicraft  Painted Bottle – Competitor to paint a bottle using glass paints. As per SEA rules
